What I Learned About Scholarly Research

        There is a lot of important information when it comes to learning the most efficient ways to research. There are many different ways to research but like what was taught to us some are like walking to a destination instead of driving. You'll get there it will just be less effective. In the lesson at the library, we learned ways to drive to our goal instead of walking.

    One of the ways we were taught to do this is by learning the library research system. The library has a great system in place to make research clear and easy. I learned about how to go into the library website and go to the research tab to help limit my search. From there, going to the search database will give the option to let the reader click boxes to help be more specific in what the reader is looking for. The other option is going to research guides. An area is broken up by topic and then readers can search more specifically from there. These are all super helpful ways to improve how I was doing my research. 

    To conclude, this was a very helpful lesson. I learned a lot more such as library research, how to use Google Scholar, and other databases that could help with finding reliable sources. These are all very crucial things to know. I am glad I was able to pick up for much information from it. Now I have many databases to go off of.
